We've got a small gang: 3 tanks and 8 gerbs.
tank one has 2 males
tanks 2 has 2 females
tank 3 has a pair of mates and their two pups, although in another week or
so the pups will either get their own tank or be put with the existing pair
of each sex

Total tank and cage count has hit 123; with gerbils; 16. 9 are 10
gallon with two each; and 7 are 20 gallon with two of those having
three. The other five of the twenties have two.
I am in the process of switching the rest of my gerbils to 20 galloners.
All hamsters live either singly (syrians) or pairs or trios (five trios)
for the dwarf campbells. Plus two cages, one holds a single
chinese dwarf female; and another holds her three offspring. All
cages are 10 gallon aquarium or equivalent in size (i.e., jumbo
kritter keeper or Safari hamster cage).
One 10 gallon tank holds three rats, which are going to be switched
to a 20 gallon. One medium kritter keeper holds the white mouse.
I am working today to finish the weekend mungout, room scrub,
and general housecleaning in the hamstery/gerbilry; and setting
up another thirty five tanks for the next two weeks expansion.
I get the luxury of breeding for colors and having a few petstores
that take my extras every week. The store's staff have been
'retrained' by me; and when I deliver I check all their small
animal stock for health and care. Else I don't leave my animals.
I am expanding as I am adding another store; which will allow
me to work on two new colors in my dwarf campbells and
plusher coat selection in my syrians. And a new color of
gerbil I got today; I need to go run off and figure out what
color she is. [fairly light and redeyed and pretty!] She will
be paired with a male from one trio I have (two males one
female...the remainder of a larger colony I have pared down)
and that matchup is reflected in the cage totals listed above.
