pup losses

A sad reality of gerbil breeding seems to be the inevitable loss of some
pups.  I was wondering if there is a statistic on the rate or if people
that have has some litters could state  the survival rate.  So far I've
had 2 deaths of 13 pups so 15% loss and 85% survival rate.  Donna A.
