Oh I don't know about that.  Sound more like an allergy to me, since
they've been on antibiotics.  It's possible for gerbs to be allergic even
to Carefresh!  I have one girl right now that I am trying to slowly
desensitize to it.  She's allergic to EVERYTHING poor girl!  What other
kinds of bedding have you tried?  You could go to the extreme of putting
them on nothing but plain paper for awhile.
