The Hanson Clan (THC) is doing fine. Healthy, for once! I have some gerbils coming in from Jennifer Thompson soon, so that'll be a nice addition. I'm putting Faith (er, um, Fred.. hee hee.. I SWEAR his belly was filled with dots when he was a baby!) with one of my moms gerbils, and my mom will be introducing 2 females (with a little help *s*). Linsee will go with one of Jenn's lone males, and 2 of her females will be a pet pair. Hope & Hero have not delivered yet. They keep making nests and destroying them, so I don't know what to think. If they don't have them soon I'm going to have some very angry people.. Tasha, if they don't have them by June 10th I'll e-mail you. Anyway, I've observed some really interesting stuff now that all the gerbs are in my room. First of all, not very interesting, "teenage" pups can dirty up a pup tank FAST. I keep my pups in large (about equal to a 20 gallon, but large all around) plastic/rubber thing kind of like Elizabeth (Heckert)'s pup tank, with pretty good ventilation, but my gosh.. it sure stinks after 2 pups have been in for two weeks. According to my mom, actually. I seem to be immune to any pet smell, exept skunk, but that's a WHOLE other story.. Second is that ceramic seems to be a favorite among Hope, Hero, and their pups. All the pups do is slide on it, but I have a big ceramic dish in the cage and especially Hero likes to dig out all the bedding and curl up in it, because it's nice and cool. It's 90 degree weather here, so they seem greatful for it (and lots of fresh water). Anyway, I'm rambling, so I'll end this. Paige
