Hey everyone! What is the best way to hold your gerbil to ge a look-see at
their teeth?!?!

The same thing hapened to my Laureen about tree weeks ago !
First of all you shouild calm down . Teeth will grow back very fast !
You should give her soft thigs like baby food or anything else nuticious
that she can lick (ve gave our girl even Nutella if you know what that is !
She won't drink water for a first two- tree days so you should give cucumber
or something similar , but you should cut it in really, really small pieces
!
After a day you can give her sunflowe and pumpkin seeds but you should open
those and cut in small pieces (give her as much as she can eat while in
those moment the only importan thing is that she eats , doesn't matter what)
Actually she will eat anything she normaly likes if you cut it in small
pieces (cornflakes too) .
Some people told me that they've given dog/cat food -from can to their
teethless gerbils - while they can lick it (our Laureen didn't want it) .
In a few days you shall check her other pair of teeth while it could happen
that those will overgrow ,so oyu 'll have to trim them .
We didn't have to do that - we were just giving her tons of hard stuff to
chew and now her teeth are the
same size as her partner's (new top teeth look even nicer) and she acts
completely normal like it never happened !
Note that she will sleep a bit more that usually , probably because of
stress ...
Just feed her avery few hours (2-5) trying to change "diet" ...
