If you think the thread is that stupid, then filter it or killfile
it and let others continue without you. Topics are going to come
up that you aren't interested in on a mailing list, but they are
still on-topic.

"Blowing it out of hand" is a statement of opinion. AG has had
recent experiences with other types of animal breeders that are
telling her it's NOT out of hand, because of serious consequences
to the animals and the owners.

Stating your opinion means you voluntarily joined the discussion,
no one DRAGGED you into it. If you don't want to discuss a topic,
your choices are to 1. delete the messages or 2. filter them. If
you post your opinions, you can't them turn around and claim duress
about discussing the topic. That was your choice.

She could have phrased that much more diplomatically, IMO. She did
give the impression that you might be making things up.

However, her basic point was that it doesn't matter WHAT your local
post office employee says was correct. The federal statutes out
rank whatever you were told, and the federal statutes say it's illegal.
Period. Now, whether you and your local post office employee chose
to ignore those laws and take those risks is up to you, but people
should know it IS illegal, and there CAN BE some pretty serious legal
consequences to ignoring them. This is not opinion, or conjecture, or
flaming, this is a fact.
