The little female gerbil I have been trying to figure out the color
of...she's moulting. And losing that silvery oversheen.
She is a sort of light tan brown now; still most pretty; and
self-colored. She has darkened a few shades as well.
I place her now as a .... very light tan brown self colored
gerbil. No hint of orange, no hint of purple. The tan is
sort of drab. I have gotten more DMC floss to try to re-
match her new post-moult color.
Note, she doesn't seem to have the colorpoint or himalayan
gene; as her nose and paws and tail are the same color as
the rest of her....
