My family of 5 gerbils is of 4 males and a female (1 father and 4 pups, the
mother died).  Anyway whenever there is a bare part in the tank (glass bottom
showing) they will rub and rub and RUB!  I thought it was a territorial thing
but they are rubbing on their backs too, it almost looks like they are having
seizures ... but they are enjoying it VERY much!  What on EARTH are they
doing???
