It could have been a Topaz AappCcbG-E- that would be darker than a argente
cream. The cb can also give a normal black a slight dulled appearance. The
only way to tell for sure the genes of a unknown gerbil would be to do test
breed to say a REW then you will know for sure if she carries g.
