**** That's true everywhere on the Net.
GML writers frequently violate that good form. Including one signature
that lists about 20 names of gerbils in a long list.
Perhaps your point should be incorporated in a GML Guideline about
signatures.
IMHO adding a bumper sticker (one line of about 16 characters) is not
instrusive and could do more good than harm.
Besides -- it's also for social fun. (*smile*)
The bumper sticker will appeal to some and not others. Instructions for
how to make a signature block are for people (like me) who never have used
them.
