Cleaning - a gerbil newbie

"Everything says dishes and water bottles should be cleaned with a
"petsafe" disinfectant. What would this be? (suggestions incl. brand
names would be appreciated)"

Hi Catherine -- I use a squirt bottle with a little bleach and the rest
water to clean the tank, accessories, dishes, and water bottles.  Then I
rinse them with hot water.  Donna
