I think I have seen the first kind a few weeks ago, with my Sherlock.  He
just sat in my hand while I petted him for a good 5 minutes, then went
right back to normal.  Not at all typical for him, and he was doing a funny
trembling at the same time.  I suppose he could have actually been spooked,
but that's not really the typical reaction.  Usually they head straight
down my front at warp 9 attempting to get back into their tanks, or
occasionally one will sit on my shoulder and thump!  I've never had one sit
in my hand like that before.
