Hi Everyone,

I thought I should give everyone an update on my 5 year old niece Kasandra
who has cancer. The tumor that was found last February is not going away. It
keeps growing even after chemotherapy and after removal of part of the
tumor.

She is in a lot of pain now and will be undergoing surgery next Friday to
remove more of the tumor. This is being done in an attempt to ease some of
her pain. The doctors have her on a lot of morphine for the pain. After the
surgery she will under go experimental chemotherapy since the traditional
chemo is not working.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. This little girl needs a
miracle now. Things are not looking good for her.

This is her second round with cancer. She was first diagnosed with a Wilm's
tumor on her 4th birthday in December 1998. That tumor was completely
removed along with part of her left kidney. By August of 1999 she completed
chemotherapy and was doing great. Then this new tumor showed up last
February.
