Introducing Females

I know it's generally hard to introduce adult female gerbils and
easier to introduce 6-8 week pups, but what are the chances with
a 8-9 week female and a 5-6 week female pup? I have a lone female
and I'd like to introduce her to a pup from my litter, and I only
have one female to introduce her to. To make matters even more
stressing for me, the pup is a runt, so she'll be quite small and
I think one bite could really damage her, even if she is 6+
weeks. Anyway, please let me know.
