The Little Rascals are moving to Phoenix, Arizona, as their human got a job
there! Anyway I am trying to do everything possible to ensure they arrive
safely. I took a tape measure out to our car and I think we can fit
everybody in the back if they are in little carriers, although to keep them
secure I may have to put the carriers in lidless boxes with holes cut in,
and secure the boxes with the seat belts. Or something. I'm planning to
put carrots in with them as well as food. I'm not sure how I'm going to
keep the sun off them yet but I'll figure something out. As it is a 2 day
drive I am planning to take 2-3 of the 10 gallon tanks into the hotel with
us (as well as the gerbs of course) and let them all take turns running
around in the tanks for exercise and get a good drink of water. Anybody
have any other safety-related ideas?
