Unless they have fur mites, you probably wouldn't see them as they live
under the surface of the skin. If they are under the skin, shampoos or
powders may not help and you will need the advice of an experienced exotics
vet. It is probably more likely that they have rubbed the fur off, but if
they are scratching or seem uncomfortable or distraught at being handled
I'd have them checked by a vet.
