Hi -- I like your idea about adding the S: There is something like
this already set up -- I: for irrelevant (I guess), but I think Social
is a more positive and descriptive term.
Also, my gerbil Cara also runs out of the cage, up my arm and onto my
shoulder given any opportunity, she then dives down my shirt collar so I
have to remember to keep my shirts tucked in! My other gerbils I just
put onto my shoulder. They are very good at balancing and very rarely
fall off my shoulder (once they've learned to sit up there). Even if
they do they slide down your shirt front or back so you can catch them.
I would just keep recommend you keep your hands free when there is a
gerbil on your shoulder in case you have to recover one on its way down.
