Someone recently on the AGS (American Gerbil Society) mailing list made
the comment that at his height of gerbil breeding he had 40 gerbils and
it was so time/engery consuming that it was no longer fun.
I have 10 gerbils setup in three tanks/clans and it is still
(surprisingly to this gerbil novice) easy to care for them all. Blossom
(& Bullet) are expecting any day now, so I'll have to see how the
addition of a new litter into the mix effects my gerbil enjoyment versus
stress level!
I am just wondering from people who have or (have had in the past) many,
many gerbils at what point does it get to be too much?
