Hi all,
A few moments ago, I went to see my gerbils and I saw them, sitting on their
first floor. Mulder was just sitting there and Scully was kind of hanging
over him. Their eyes were half open. It was creepy. Their fur was very
fluffy. I thought that they, for some reason, couldn't get to their water,
so I tried to give them water by hand. At first Scully attacked the water,
but after 4 or 5 nips she stopped, Mulder wasn't interested at all in the
water. So that didn't seem to be the problem. They kept streching out on the
ground and in their sandbath. They both looked so groggy, so apathetic! That
was why I was so worried! I picced Scully up and she finally seemd to get a
bit better. Now, a quarter later, they are very lively and they look healthy
again.
They frightened me to death! If they were just dozing there, why not in
their hole?
Scully also bit me. Usually Mulder likes to nibble on my finger from time to
time, but Scully never does. Now sh bit litterally trough my skin, until I
realised I just made a pizza with fresh vegetables and I didn't have the
time to wash my hands.
Did anyone have a similar experience? Is it normal for them to fall half
asleep on their floor?
THANKS
Sarah, Scully and Mulder
