Hello, Just wondering if there are any wonderful sister sites out there for hamsters like our wonderful gerbs? Specifically i need answers to these questions: 1. Intro male/female of 6-10 wks: will split cage work? For how long in comparison to gerbs? 2. Color palette and genetics calc you do not have to down load, like the one on Ricks site you just punch in? 3. Is 'squawking' normal? Like will they do it forever? Here is my sitch: Got to pick out some breeding hammies for 1/2 price.....they are fancy hamsters. I have them split in split cages for now for 24 hours so far. Their colors are (equivilant in gerb terms) REW female x spotted rust/copper colored male and spotted cream x spotted grey/dovish female (who is younger than the rest). thank you! I dont want to go into GREAT details... of learning.....have had hamsters before as singles and dwarfs but never breeding pairs. I have buyers for (are they called ?) pups but dont know these answers. Help appreciated.
