Any tips for helping a pup with a respiratory infection?
I have litter of four 24 days (plus an older litter of 3 seven weeks
old).
One of the 24 day old pups has a respiratory infection and is not doing
well (very light in weight and feels cool). I have had him on
Ornyacycline (tetracycline) for 24 hours and am trying to feed him
Kitten Replacement Milk (he won't actively drink it but lets me drip it
into his mouth -- just got 50 drips in or near the mouth area).
I have the pups on Carefresh and unscented tissue. Three days ago I
cleaned out the tank and used a very little bleach then rinsed and
dumped the tank thoroughly several times in the bathtub. All the other
pups are sleek and fat (but some clicking in the little ones) -- the
medicine is in the waterbottle for everyone.
