Color question :)

I have two different kinds of grays in my clan, one is dark gray (a baby),
and the other is a light gray that looks kind of lightish blue (the mother).
Does dove have kind of a blue tinting to it?  I thought she was dove, but
when I looked at the mother and her baby side-by-side they looked so
completely different!  Do doves loose there color as they get older, because
she wasn't this light before.  Can someone please help me?
