Can anyone provide advice to this woman who wrote to me (see below)
about her injured or ill gerbil?

"I came by your web site through ags and wondered if you could give me
some advice about our gerbil. We have a 1 1/2 year old male. He has been
active and healthy until this evening when I went to check on him. He
cannot use his right front paw and is leaning to the right. I took him
out of cage and noticed a tiny amount of blood on his nostrils though it
has seemed to continue bleeding. I don't think he fell or I would have
heard it happen. He didn't seem to mind me touching the paw he can't
use. Your advice would be greatly appreciated."
