Hopping Question

Hi. My Gerbil seems very paranoid. She sits in her
wheel and does nothing. Also I am very concerned with
something she has been doing. She Hops like she had
the hiccups or something. All of a sudden her hind
legs fly off the ground. She looks drowsy also. She
spends most of the day siting in one spot and staring
into space and believe me that is not like her. I hope
someone can tell me wants happening!
