Promise and Bullet had a single pup on Friday Dec. 8. As you may recall Promise is fostering a pup who is just over 3 weeks old. Well, Promise is letting both the foster pup and the new pup nurse. (Is it unusual that a pup from an older litter would nurse with a new litter?). So far (it's been 3 days) the new pup is doing well. I am expecting another gerbil Blossom to have a litter any time now. I am thinking I should have her foster the single pup. Any thoughts?
