One of our previous gerbils figured out where the hand came from that
brought food and toys and would never tire of trying to escape through
that little door. The first time we noticed this was when we were
watching tv and looked over to see Muffy sitting on top of her cage,
bemused, watching us.
Clever is a good word to describe them! (except for one of our previous
males named Conan)
