I am just curious, because all the pics that I have
seen of DEH's are female, there are male DEH's aren't
there? I just know in some animals there are some
colors that are sex-linked . . . and I just wondered
because I haven't SEEN any DEH males if there were
any.
also, are there a lot of people who breed for ee
colors? I've found it's almost impossible to find any
of these colors in a pet store, and while I am going
to be getting a pair soon that have the ee, I was just
curious. Are those colors more rare, or just in
certain areas of the country?
my pups are 3 weeks old now, all have their eyes open
and they are a riot to watch! :) The three dove
girls personalities are starting to show, making it
easier to tell them apart. so far I only have a name
for one. I call her Spring, because she acts like she
has a wound up spring in her! She is very much into
and all over everyone and everything in the cage. One
of the little dove girls is really quiet, and she will
just sit in your hand calm as can be for as long as
you hold her. The two dove pied girls I've named
Crystal and Prizm and the black pied boy is Nibble (at
my kids wishes). They are all three DEFINITELY pied,
with the collar, line connecting the spots, white
tummies and feet and white speckles on their lower
backs. It's really striking on little Nibble! I've
also seen them trying to chew on stuff, although they
don't seem to make much progress. How old are they
before their teeth are really working?
Hoping to get some pictures of them this week so
Hopefully I'll have some pics up soon of them and
their parents.
well that's it for me. Hope everyone is doing okay.
Take Care
