Hi all!
Scully and Mulder live in a huge cage we built for them. It's 80 cm (=31,5
inches) high and learned to jump really high in that cage! For the floors, I
put 2 horizontal sticks in the bars on wich the floor lays. That way we can
regularly change the place from the floors and put more or less of them in
it. One day, while cagecleaning, I took out the highest floor, but about 30
cm under it there was still another one. The floor was out, but the sticks
were still in. Scully actually jumped from the lower floor on to the floor
that I just removed. Wich means, she fell right through the two sticks. I
though, My god, that must have hurt! But she was fine! She is still jumping
happily ever after!
It's wonderful to see them have fun with all the climbing they can do! The
only problem I have is the gnawing on the bars. I can put as much wood in
the cage as you want, but they keep gnawing the bars.
Does anyone have a solution for that?
Thanks for listening to me!
Sarah
