Hi, Yesterday while at PetSmart I was looking at the gerbils they had just gotten in. One of the gerbils was dove colored (red eyes, light grey, self-colored), but with goldish colored tips to the fur (not argente golden, but a "golden" dusting look). Is that coloring unusual in dove pups (I've never seen it ...)? This pup is approximately 4 weeks old judging purely on tail and body size.
