<Yes, it is called "molting."  The first molts is when you see the color
changes in the DEH, Nutmeg, and Schimmle colors. Molting is not noticeable
in the other colors because come in the same color as the original fur.

O because when I picked up my gerbil Dot it was like she was shedding. Fur
everywhere. she is and argente Golden.
