Hi all,
I've lurked here for awhile now, deciding when to
introduce myself. Well today I need some help. One of my breeding pairs, Riley
and Stimpy look very ill this morning. They were fine last night, as I fed
them and took them out to play. This morning they both look like they have
lost a lot of weight. And are sorta staggering in their cage when I call them to
the sides. I put some fresh broccoli down, and
they are nibbling on some now. Anything special I could give them to help in
this?
I checked their water bottle, thinking maybe its
not dispensing water properly. It works fine. My 15 other gerbils and 5 pups are
all fine. I've gone through trying to think if I sprayed anything in here, or
tried something different. I can't think of anything. I'm very
worried.
I have an engagement that needs me for the next 3
hours, no way of getting out of it. However afterwards I can and will get them
to the vets if they haven't perked up. If someone feels that is this is an
absolute emergency for my little guys, please let me know. I can do my best to
find someone who might take them to the vets for me.
Is there anything I can do for them between now and
then?
I appreciate any response, and thank you for
letting me barge in here.
