Hi!
I had a female who I paired up at 5 weeks with two 8 week old males.At 11
weeks of age this female had a litter of 10 pups! This would indicate that
some females can breed at 7 weeks of age.
Sadly when these pups (who were my first multicoloured litter ever born) were
10 days old their mother got severe diarreah and died.I tried hand feeding
the babies but lost them too.
Maybe even though a female is sexually capable of having a litter, it doesn't
necessarily mean that she is physically or mentally able to rear them.I think
my female was too stressed out.
