update on pups

they are doing really well, I had a bit of a worry about one of Blanche's pups as he didn't open his eyes until two days after the other one....Shy's pups all seem to be colourpoint slate with little white front paws (cute)....   now on the subject of colours. one of Blanche's pups was born very pale and the other quite dark...but now there almost the same colour, the one that was darker was brown for a while then got greyer, the only thing I can think of is that it might be a light colourpoint agouti? as it is more of a sepia colour than grey.  this would mean that blanche is a light ivory cream, but she seems a little dark for that? (maybe with cb rather than ch, making the pup a colourpoint agouti)   I've left them together as they are getting along so well, but intend to split them up as soon as Shy's pups open their eyes (I've already seen them eat, and run around their tank seemingly knowing exactly where they are going? obviously sight isn't as important to gerbils as smell)
