Ok... it was "luck", that this rat was pregnant, so we will stop this discussion
and Lisa will try to find ratties anew nice home. As i said try to ask your
friends or in your school.
My friend had a cat and she was pregnant almost 7 times (she was old whe she
died) and he did NEVER put the cat-babys to a shelter! Now all of his friends
have cats, cause he "provided" one for each of them. And they are lucky to have
one. I don't think this is right to do, cause in shelters there are hundreds of
cats waiting for a new owner, and you can get a cat there. But now the same
friend of mine has another young cat and she is pregnant now - and he has for
all kittens already a "reservation"... even if he don't know how many kittens
will be in the litter. But he will get the cat sterilised in next months, when
she will have her first babys.
I can't say that it is the same with rats, but you can just try!!! Will you?
