I've been suddenly inspired to do a Gerbil FAQ revision. It's the first
since Xander was born, two and a half years ago and a bit more, so jump on
the train now. I'm not likely to be inspired again any time soon.
Please send me corrected addresses for anyone references in email, any
clubs, or any organizations that need to be added. I know the American
Gerbil Society is currently absent and I believe the Gerbil Club of
Missouri is no longer in existence.
For anyone who has the knowledge and the time, I would appreciate help
with a complete revamping of the genetics and color sections. Not being
into breeding any more, I have not really kept up with it. You will, of
course, get credit for doing so. If you write it, it will be a
"Contributed by" section. If you help me write it, it will be a "Written
with the assistence of" section. If you help me revamp someone else's
section, such as Sharon Stone's, it may be a "Contributed originally by"
and "Edited by" or "Edited with the assistance of". I haven't quite
worked out the implications of how that might work for credits.
For anyone hosting the FAQ, I'll remind you that some years ago, I
requested that a continuity of background and style was kept, so they all
looked alike. This includes translations into another language, although
I don't know if any of those copies are around any more. I also ask that
a reference back to me or my homepage be included in the header.
