Any thoughts on how to keep our gibbles
entertained while inside
the tank?
I find once they have messed everything
thoroughly and established
their nest and enough tunnels, they tend to sleep more
often and
become relatively inactive.
One thing they seem to enjoy is when I go in there
and literally mess
everything up for them. Sometimes I'll take a few
heaps of bedding
and move it over to the other side and
move their tubes and
ladders. Besides jumping on my hand and/or
having a revived appetite
for nibbling on cardboard, they seem to
enjoy having
their habitat
'tuned-upside-down' giving them what appears to be relished
opportunities to newly interior decorate their
home.
Anything else besides that? Cardboard tubes, wood
chews, a spinning
wheel, and the usual stuff seems to be getting
monotonous.
