Yep, like I said before, nine is a lot, and gives you a rather high change
of loosing one or more pups. When you want to save all the pups, best would
be to foster one or two pups from the 8-pups litter to the mother of the
single pup. She obviously did have enough milk so far, so she will surely
have milk for three as well!

Yes, because she already nursed her pup, it can be rather painful for her
not to be able to nurse any more, the milk will continue coming, and this
might really disturb her.
