I bought my son a pair of gerbils (male and female) in early December. They had their first litter three days ago. We are down to one pup. They are eating them. I know they eat them if they are sick or unhealthy, but these seemed fine. They were moving around plenty and looked fine. She moved the babes around plenty. I hope they let them one live. I just wanted to be able to explain to my 9 year old why this has happened. Thanks Melissa
