Good advice ;)

I'd like to add that my gerbils don't seem to do well on paper based bedding
= / They get the same red, raw, puffy, scabby, swollen noses too!!! Sooo,
I have found that by strictly using corn cob bedding I have eliminated that
problem.

Also, be sure you rinse their tanks with very hot water if you are using any
kind of soap for cleaning. Better yet only use very hot water.

If you need to disinfect, use the famous advice columnist Heloease (?)
favorite solution: white vinegar! It really works!! Laboratory tested on TV
no less.

P.S. Cardboard seems to be much less of a problem. It seems to be fine paper
dust that is irritating to my gerbs.
