The petstores have been having problems getting enough
gerbils, hamsters, and other small animals to meet demand
for about a year now. You might want to go to a breeder
as it might take awhile for the pet store to get some more.
The sooner you get Timbit a friend, the easier the introduction
will probably be, and the better for him as well.
