Fostering

My oldest female gerbil gave birth to 2 pups today. I didn't even know she
was pregnant this time!  I think it may be good to have her adult daughter,
who currently has 5 one week old pups, foster these 2 pups. Would this be
best?
I know this has been discussed before, but I want to make sure I'd be doing
the right thing.
BTW, these are the 2 females that gave birth on the same day in past months
(and on 2 separate occasions!).
