We have found that the best wheel grease is vaseline. Get yourself a jar
and every night before bed apply liberally with a cotton swab.
Other ideas:
Remove wheel at night.
Feed them in the morning and play with them in the early, early evening so
they are less likely to be active at night. (They are most active after
being fed and after being messed with by humans.)
