sorry, colors again

Sorry, I know I've asked this question already, and i thank you all for your
answers, but i'm still quite puzzled.  When I wrote last time about the color
of three of my little gerbils, Dark Eyed Honey seemed to be the response i
got.  They'll be four weeks old on thursday, and currently, they look
identical to the color of their dad, who is aregente gold...however, they all
have black eyes.  do they still have some kind of color change to go through,
or could they be some other color?  again, sorry for the repeat question, but
it's just irritating that i can't figure out what color they are.
