I have a water bottle that has gotten really nasty. It had antibiotics
in it, and when I replaced the bottle with one with fresh, plain water I
put it in soapy water to soak. It sat like that a day and looks now
like it's growing mold. Sigh. I usually put them in vinegar until I
have a chance to get to them but I didn't have any this time. So ...
all I can think to do to kill the mold is use bleach, but I've heard
that bleach soaks into plastic and you can't ever get it out. Anybody
know if that's true? If so I'll just throw the darn thing away, I don't
want my little ones ingesting bleach!
