here's my dilemma: i have 1 adult female
1 adult male
I bought 4 gerbils(2 boy, 2 girl) from the same
litter.
right now i have 4 seperate cages, with the two
same-sex pairs from the same litter, the single adult female then single
adult male in two seperate cages. i tried putting the adult male with the 2
baby boys but obviously hes too old. however he did get along with the
smaller one of the two. i am hesitant to pair him up with this one because
the other boy would be alone and i would have the same situation. i was
thinking of pairing the bigger baby boy with my adult female but i am working
at a bed-and-breakfast and i will only be allowed to bring 2 tanks there.Can
i put a board between 2 tanks and have my babies split up into same-sex pairs
in one and my adults split in another, or is that too crowded for 2 10-gal
tanks? i will be returning at the end of summer.
