Get a Lixit or Quick Quench water bottle (aquarium bottle). This is
a cylindrical bottle with both ends rounded and a straight tube.

You hang it from the side or top of cage or aquarium, and if properly
closed and burped...will not drip but will release water as needed.
A simple tap of your finger on the bottom of the tube will let you know
if it's working or not.

Those test-tube glass ones are horrid. Right up there with the Sam's
canteen things which drip empty in fifteen minutes and soak everything.
