I use a small container (a tupperware container) to get my gerbils out of
the cage. or I use half a habitrail tube (part of one of their homes is
habitrail), I wait for them to get curious enough to get inside and then I
scoop up the thing that they have crawled into. and from there I either
scoop them up and give them a minute to get used to being in my hand before
I try to move them anywhere (which I have to do for Foxy) or I wait for them
to jump into my hand (which Jaws does...and the Molly and Dante, the parents
of the babies, I just try to leave them alone cause they hate me with a
passion..I let my boyfriend pick them up cause they don't mind him) Hope
this helps
Heather
