Yahoo! I agree. Light Dark-eyed Honey Spot is a
mouthful for a very pretty color that is very
different from a DEH. These gerbils are not pp. They
are DEH with a cb or ch (mom has ch, dad cb and I am
getting so many that I think either lightens out the
DEH, but don't know for sure).
Since ch changes an argente to an argente cream, could
have ch change DEH to Honey Cream. Or could call the
DEH ch Light Honey and DEH ch Sp Honey Cream. I think
a lovely and easy to say name would help promote
breeding of this beautiful color.
This page set shows a litter with a DEH ch (Light
Honey) and a DEH ch sp (Honey Cream). The mom is a
DEH ch sp (Honey Cream).

Hello everyone!
The following is a copy of an email I sent to
the AGS. I'd like some input from the general
population on this subject as well:
I'd like to take this opportunity to promote the
naming of the LDEH Pied to "Honey Cream."
