Hello List,
It is a very sad thing to hear of Lisa's problems with her "young" but I'm
very sure that there is "no way" she could be doing this either on purpose
or out "clear neglect" that many times, yet tell the "list here" about what
she'd done, knowing well that we all have these little critters as close to
our hearts as our own children!!!

She must have allot of guilt from her "errors" and by now has to have
learned something from it. After all that is what separates us from animals,
isn't it? Let's let it lie now and pray that we all understand that "it can
happen" and I'd bet my farm on that it will never again happen to her and
pray that it will be far in between, us ever hearing that it happen to
another owner/breeder again !!! However, it WILL again happen but only by
an "error" in reading the water level in the bottle :o( to one of 100s of
1000s of gerbil owner IT WILL HAPPEN !!!! and I pray it never will happen to
any gerbil that "I know"

This is "Lisa's story" now and it will always be a lesson to me as well as
many of you and I will be a better "human" for my gerbil children for it!!!
Lisa, I pray that you find peace and learn from your "errors" I will no
longer judge you for them ...........
