This is a long pattern of behavior from Lisa.  A former list member kept an
archive of all GML messages, and this is what comes up on the archive in

are still nursing from mom. They have not used the waterbottle yet thuogh.

Now, while we've all had difficulties at some point, I think that isn't
pretty rare to lose that many animals in that short a time period without
some serious irresponsibility going on.
